1. Look More Attractive - This is one of the largest obstacles between getting more women into magic is the attractiveness of Magic’s players. No one wants to go to an all day event where most people are overweight, or worse, people who have asymmetrical faces. Even if you don’t have an asymmetrical face, you are guilty for not saying anything. If you see something… say something.
2. Wear Nicer Clothes - If you can’t afford to buy clothes that make you appealing to me, quit playing magic you filthy piece of crap. How are you going to justify putting money towards a hobby, when clearly you are not attractive to me. How about you have a little respect for others, and just stay home next time you decide to wear those clothes. Be a little considerate.
3. Ignore Your Instincts - I get it. You see a female magic player and you’re suddenly excited because you think their may be a woman who shares your interest. BACK OFF! You’re not allowed to express attraction in the real world, what makes you think you can do it here!
4. Find Hot Role Models - Find yourself an outspoken female magic player who agrees with your own ideals and philosophies, and make sure she’s attractive. That way, when you argue with other male magic players about the state of the game, you are always right because they are sexist if they disagree.
5. Follow Through - If you have made it this far you are someone who cares about pointing out these terrible people and establishing your own beliefs as dominant. Follow steps 1-4, and you are guaranteed to be seen as a hero in the eyes of your community.
